SFU mapping tool addresses equity issues and secondary impacts of COVID19 in BC

Mount Waddington, B.C. May 2021 - This just in. Simon Fraser University (SFU) has created a mapping tool that reflects on and addresses some of the equity issues and secondary impacts of COVID-19 in B.C. neighbourhoods.
And yes, as North Islanders we know that rural BC lacks data, (and that impacts how our communities are represented in projects like this) however this project remains a relevant and insightful tool for people considering the larger ramifications of COVID-19, and how we can evaluate impacts - and how we can evolve out of this time, as communities.
