The North Island College has announced the Health Care Assistant Program is coming to their Mount Waddington campus located in Port Hardy starting in 2019. Health Care Assistant training is a rewarding program that teaches students to deliver front-line care, with competencies recognized in health care facilities province-wide. This is a one-year certificate program with approximate tuition fees of $2,965. For graduates of the program, it opens doors to a range of employment opportunities in a growing sector.
